SCORE – Track Day

Oulton Park was the scene for a SCORE Track day on Sept 17th. Oulton Park is a technical circuit with some amazing corners such as the banked hairpin half-way around the circuit! We were guests of the Gold Track Driving Club. which I have to say right now, where absolutely fantastic and amazingly organised (Cheers Melindi!) I’ve got a whole bundle of photo’s to pin up including my own bundle of joy, screaming down the back straight! These included a variety of Super7’s including a Superlight, a couple of Lotus Elise’s some very nice imported Japanese machinery inc a WRX Impreza and the odd Porche 911. The fastest machines out there had to be the Westfield similar to a Caterham but with a 4.6litre V8 unit!! an RSR GT-class Porsche and a wonderful Ferrari F40 which I later learned was apparently running on Aviation Fuel!!! Gulp!!  I’ll try to get a few piccies up soon with a full report to be in the next magazine.
